Work Experience
I interned at Cigna last summer (2018). I worked in the group speciality insurance department. Cigna is transitioning into agile process development so I learned a lot about agile methodologies and principles. I increased productivity by utilizing these methodologies and facilitating agile ceremonies across multiple operations teams. During my time at Cigna I also customized and created reporting apps that identified key metrics and measured system and process success for a new billing and policy administration platform. I analyzed business scenarios, architectural diagrams, and vulnerabilities for the new platform. In addition to my role work, I worked on an intern innovations project with several interns across the locations. We developed a messaging application that aided people going through trauma. We presented our solution to senior leaders at Cigna and won 2nd place at the innovations competition.
During the summer of 2017 I interned at IMMERSIVE XR in Trevose, PA. I interned as a business administration and technology intern. I created infographics and graphic flyers to pitch to investors, redesigned a website using WordPress, conducted online research on technology trends, market competition, and success rate, and compiled research reports and presented findings to senior management. I also interned at PUBLIC HEALTH MANAGEMENT CORPORATION in Philadelphia, PA. I was a database Management Intern at PHMC. I cleaned and reduced data redundancies through various Excel Functions, increased productivity and efficiency by 20% by incorporating Excel Functions, and analyzed and summarized enrollment and disenrollment data.
I have worked at SWARNA JEWELS in Bensalem, PA for quite some time from summers of May 2012 to June 2016. I am an online Coordinator and Sales Representative. I trained and new employees on ethical responsibilities, developed enhanced methods to capture, edit, and upload jewelry photography through Photoshop, updated and systemized inventory for 1000s of products using Excel for website, and coordinated marketing road shows around the nation and increased sales by 15%.
