Visual Analytics: Best Practices
I really enjoyed attending this webinar and learning about visual analytics, which is a concept I haven’t had the chance to study much. I was introduced to Tableau and it’s functionality. The orientation of your data is very important as you want to make it as easy as possible for the user to find the information that they are looking for. This webinar really related to a lot of the concepts that I learning in my User Experience class this semester. There were several different things that related to the Norman concepts including mapping, signifiers, and general accessibility.
