Technology Risk Consulting Associate
In Summer 2023, I will start working full-time as a Technology Risk Consulting Associate at RSM US LLP in the Philadelphia office.
RSM US LLP is an audit, tax, and consulting firm focused on the middle market in the United States and Canada. As a Technology Risk Consulting Associate at RSM, I will work with various sized businesses spanning industries such as financial institutions, manufacturing, and private equity. Throughout my career, I will earn hands-on client experience with direct access to business owners and executive management.
As an associate, I will provide services to clients in order to help them identify and manage technology-related risks which threaten their operations. This position relates to MIS because management information systems are used to collect and transmit data. When a client adopts their technologies, they face risks including breaches which threaten the business’ operations. As an associate, I will test IT general controls to assist clients in reducing and identifying risk. As a result of my internship with RSM, I was able to gain experience with concepts present in MIS courses such as systems, applications, databases, and computer operations that will be present in my full time position.
