“Introduction to Network Routing” by Robert McMillen!

Just finished “Introduction to Network Routing” by Robert McMillen and it was a great refresher that also filled in some gaps. The course starts from the ground up covering what makes up a network, how IP addresses are structured, and how data packets actually travel from point A to point B. What I found most useful was the breakdown of static vs dynamic routing and actually understanding the logic behind how data moves through a network. Even counting in binary, which sounds basic, was explained in a way that made it click practically rather than just theoretically. As someone actively working in IT and pursuing network engineering long term, this kind of foundational reinforcement matters. Networking is one of those things where if it breaks, everything breaks, so knowing how it actually works under the hood is essential. Highly recommend this one if you’re in IT or just trying to understand how it all connects.
