Interests and Activities
Sports
I have several activities and interests that have helped shape the person I am today. I try to stay active as much as possible both educationally and physically. Sports have always had a enormous impact in my life, I played organized basketball, soccer, baseball, football, and lacrosse while growing up. Sports have helped me develop leadership and social skills, most of my best friends are ex-teammates of mine. I am very fortunate to attend a D1 college and witness some of the best young athletes in the United States compete. In high school I played CYO basketball and varsity lacrosse, I continue to partake in recreational teams here at Temple. In lacrosse I won the leadership and sportsmanship award my senior year. A hobby of mine that I recently developed an interest for is fishing. Fishing helps me relax and is a very calming activity. I have always had a connection to nature and the great outdoors. I respect the environment do my best to keep it clean so I can continue to enjoy the activities I love to do.
Community & IT
At an early age I learned the importance of helping the community, through high school I performed over 100 hours of community service. It always feel good to give back to the surrounding community and provide help where it is needed. I have always had an interest in computer technology, growing up I was constantly intrigued by the latest technology and gadgets. Through my life I have learned a great deal about computers and how they operate. A great deal of the knowledge I have today is accredited to assisting my dad and his computer training company. I have a passion for working with people and I am very sociable. Working in retail has taught me to assist people and work diligently.
Travel
I have always been an adventurer and up for anything. I like to try different things that are new and exciting. This past fall semester I was fortunate enough to embark on the semester of a lifetime by studying abroad in Rome, Italy. It was a phenomenal experience and I was able to further my education while seeing a large part of Europe for the first time. I was fortunate enough to travel to eight different countries and over a dozen different cities throughout Europe. The experience was incomparable. It taught me more then I could ever learn in a classroom and I am greatful I had the chance to go on such a journey. I am eager and anxious to travel elsewhere around the globe and throughout the US.
