What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this experience in the context of specific courses)My time at Upped Events was an amazing learning experience. I was able to further develop my technical as well as soft skills. For technical skills, I was able to use my web development skills and knowledge I learned from my projects in MIS 3506, MIS 2402, and MIS 3406 while working on Upped Events web page and the wiki site using HTML and CSS injecting. I also applied the knowledge I learned from Project 2 in MIS 3506 when I was doing UX testing on Upped Events webpage to build, I learned to understand the user experience and how to apply user feedback and inputs from data base to debug website features. I also worked in an Agile environment with Jira and weekly scrum meetings to develop test and new system functions which is similar to what I learned from MIS 3535 while working on the Project. I also applied my knowledge I learned from MIS 2101 while working on the CRM projects at Upped Events to create a new CRM database to increase sale leads for the company.
