Interests & Hobbies
When I’m not in class listening to lectures and studying for exams, I love to do volunteer work. I enjoy helping people and it gives me personal satisfaction when I am able to provide assistance and make them happy. I actually do a lot of volunteer in hospitals such as Pennsylvania Hospital and Methodist Hospital.
A recreation that I like to do in my spare time is go hiking in the Wissahickon Park since it’s the closest location to my home. Growing up in the city, I wanted a change in view and needed a little more green. When my high school teacher took my class on a hiking trip, I immediately fell in love with hiking. It felt good being around nature and just walking with my friends while looking at the scenery around us. After that trip, I would make plans with my friends and we would enjoy our little hiking trips and explore new areas that we have yet to walk through. Sometime, I like to go by myself where it gives me the time to calm my mind and think about things in my life.
