Digital Risk Consulting Intern
As a Summer 2024 digital risk consulting intern at EY, I built a strong foundation for risk consulting, specifically in relation to IT environments. For the first half of the internship, my engagement team was assigned to be the internal auditor for a major client. Per the audit, my team and I tested controls and compiled work papers for the external auditor to review to ensure that all of our client’s tech systems were compliant with SOX regulations. I specifically ran UAR and change controls tests. In the second half of my internship, I participated on a different team for the same client that was facilitating the pre-implementation of a cloud migration. This allowed me to put my skills from 3506 to the test in a real-world application. The internship was honestly amazing in everything that I was able to learn and the connections that I was able to make.
