Experience
In summer of 2017 I was an intern at Ursinus College under professor Thomas Carroll. I helped Mr. Carroll complete a research study concerning atomic physics. I helped him organize and file his research, and in the process I learned about basic principles of atomic physics, and Wolfram Mathematica.
In summer of 2019 I worked at Empire Valet LLC as a manager, and handled customer service complaints on site, while facilitating company operations.
In summer of 2018, I worked as a manager at Pipeline Taco. During this time we were struggling with issues concerning the point of sale. At the time we just used a traditional cash register, and no actual point of sale system, or data analysis. Our customer service satisfaction at the time was also low. I recommended to the owner of the store that we should implement Square. Square is a sales merchant services aggregator, and mobile payment company. In using Square, we also received advanced analytics on revenue, sales, and even popular items on the menu. Square provided us with so much more information on the business, and helped us make the changes that we needed to make around the business (change pricing, drop menu items, order more ingredients…). As a result, our sales, and customer satisfaction improved. Overall, this experience provided me with valuable amount of information on how data analytics can positively impact a business.
