Sounds Like Treble

Sounds Like Treble is the University of Pittsburgh’s all-girls a Capella group. We focus our music up and coming pop and alternative songs. Throughout the semester, we perform at various charity events and host our own concert at the end of each semester.

As the music director, I am in charge of leading and teaching each practice. I compose several a Capella arrangements each semester and direct the group of 16 girls to be prepared for each performance and concert.

 

 

 

Enactus Pitt 

Director of Marketing, Urban Gardener Project Leader | Fall 2012 – Current

Enactus is a international entrepreneurial student business orgnanization. As a community of students, academic and business leaders, we are committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a more sustainable world.

At Pitt, we have three ongoing projects that focus on community outreach in the form of matching young professionals with volunteer opportunities, fighting malnutrition in a city environment through urban gardening, and teaching business ethics to Brazilian laborers. Each year we go to the Enactus National Competition to present what we have contributed throughout our year.

As the Marketing Director of our program at Pitt, I face the challenge and opportunity of connecting our projects both with the students at the College of Business Administration and the community we are trying to reach.
