ITA for BA 2501
Description: BA 2501 (Turning Numbers into Knowledge: Data Visualization) is a course that teaches the principles of data visualizations using Tableau, the basic fundamentals of graphic statistics, and how it applies to real life business scenarios. The ITA position assisted the professor (Angelica Finley) with evaluating assignments, helping students with questions regarding Tableau and project visualizations, in class assignments, and exam preparations.
This job was sponsored by Temple University’s Management Information Systems department, where I was the information technology assistant and learned the basic principles of data visualizations through Tableau, graphic statistics, and how these ideas apply to business situations. I also learned the soft skills of active communication amongst me and my professor, students, and the other ITA, while applying my knowledge about these principles in real time.
