Career and Aspirations

I have worked in the hospitality business since I was very young. My Uncle owned and operated multiple restaurants on Long Island, NY which originally gave me a taste for the business.  I am a creative, practical and goal-oriented professional with over 10 years of successful hospitality and administrative experience with a proven track record of achievement. Throughout my career I have promoted a working environment conducive to improving productivity, increasing efficiency, enhancing quality, and strengthening results. I also have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers and vendors at all levels. After completing my bachelors degree, I would like to explore the option of working more within my field of study with a hospitality or food entertainment company.

Currently, I work as a Catering and Facility Sales Manager for Brulee Catering at Please Touch Museum, Memorial Hall. I handle all major events that take place at the museum including weddings, fundraisers, non-profit and corporate galas. Below are two pictures that can give you an idea of what I do.
