Career Interests & Aspirations
This past summer I was hired as a summer intern at RT Specialty. My internship took place at their Kansas City, Missouri location from May 2014 to July 2014. To learn more about this independent wholesale brokerage, Click Here. After finishing my summer internship, I would like to find another. I am completely open to relocation. Relocating for my previous internship opened my eyes to all the potential opportunity the insurance industry offers around the country. I also would not be against an internship in the surrounding Philadelphia area. My previous internship helped me decide that I would like to follow the property/casualty track within risk management. Additionally, it also helped form my interest in the excess and surplus side of the insurance industry. I hope to use a second internship to explore the other areas within the industry and to help me decide where my skill set will be the most beneficial for a full time career.
