Restaurant Server

I have been a server at PJ Whelihan’s throughout my time at Temple. I work on weekends and am responsible for taking care of tables in a fast-paced work environment. Throughout my time at PJ’s I have honed my communication and customer relationship skills, as well as my ability to multitask. As a veteran server I am tasked with training new employees how to serve tables as well as teaching them about alcohol service rules and regulations. I also step in from time to time as a key manager, which is a position that oversees all of the servers on the floor and assists them with issues relating to financial transactions at the POS systems as well as helping customers that may have had a poor experience with food quality or other issues. This position has given me experience solving problems in a professional manner with customers that may be upset, but are later relieved when the problem is taken care of.
