Soccer
Soccer has played an integral role in my life for as long as I can remember. I began playing when I was 3 years old and have not stopped since. I played for various club teams as a child, in high school for Roman Catholic, and continue to play on the intramural level at Temple University. In addition to this, soccer has provided me the majority of my working experience over the past several years. Since 2010 I have worked as a soccer coach for the Starfinder Foundation in Manayunk, where I help coach underprivileged inner-city children.
Here’s a photo of me coaching in the summer of 2010:
Travel
Traveling to different places, whether it be to other countries or other states, has always been something I enjoyed. Over the last several summers, I have visited Florida, California, New York, Boston, and Washington D.C with my family. When I was a junior in high school I fell in love with the idea of traveling the world when I traveled to Sweden to play in an international soccer tournament. This was the first time I had the opportunity to visit another country and was fascinated by the different language and culture. It is because of this passion for traveling that I plan on studying abroad in Paris for the upcoming fall semester.
