Career Objectives

Goals:

The main goal in my life once I get my degree from Temple is to get a job in a field I am interested in, yet still challenges me to be the best I can be. I have many skill sets, and one of my most important assets is that I can learn very fast just by doing something, and applying what I have learned. There are many routes I would be willing to take, in order to advance myself in the real world. I think one of the biggest advantages I have is that I have grown up in the dawning of all this new technology, that seems to be taking over the real world. Computers, systems, and everything that comes with it, is a very normal concept for me anymore, because I am so used to it. Whether it would be for a sports team’s front office, a major corporation, or just a small local company, I would be willing to do whatever it takes to become a valuable asset for anybody that is generous enough to give me the chance.

Past Experience:

Customer Service Associate for Wawa: 2010-Present

2 months before I turned 17, I got hired at my first and only job of my life at my local Wawa store. I have been through quite a bit working at this store. Working here I have learned how to build customer relationships, which are very important in ensuring that these people return to purchase goods again. Also, I have handled counting inventory on hand in the store by doing cycle counts (basically, counting how many products we have physically for a certain category, compared to what the system says we are supposed to have). Lastly, while working in the deli might not apply to every business, it again has helped me learn how to build customer relationships. Most importantly though, the quality of the product falls on me, and so I had to make sure I made a good, quality product that represents the company well and ensures that customers will return once again. Sometimes that includes going that extra mile to make sure the customer gets exactly what they want.
