I am a part of the Executive Board for the Fox African American Business Association as the Fundraising and Community Service Chair for the 2023-2024 school year. In this role, I have gained leadership experience planning and executing volunteering and fundraising events, to engage peers and better our local community. Some initiatives I have planned include the FAABA community clean-up, a Cardz for Kidz creation workshop, and fundraisers with Blaze Pizza, Raising Cane’s, and Chipotle. These events have allowed our members and executive board to socialize, have fun, and improve our organization. In my career in the Information Technology field, I want to benefit the black community through my efforts, creating a safe space for business professionals who look like me.<\/p>\n
