Store Leadership Intern
During my internship in store leadership at Kohl’s, I gained valuable experience relevant to my Management Information Systems major. I was actively involved in managing the Omnichannel marketing system and analyzing store data, which significantly enhanced my skills in data analysis and decision-making. By working closely with store managers, I contributed to optimizing marketing strategies through data-driven insights, which improved the overall customer experience.
I also played a key role in refining our data analytics processes, focusing on sales and inventory data to develop solutions for various operational challenges. This experience allowed me to learn about inventory management systems, including using data for demand forecasting and inventory control. Overall, this internship strengthened my ability to apply management information principles to real-world scenarios, fostering both business growth and customer engagement.
