As an NTT faculty member I spend a considerable amount of time focused on service to the department, the school, the university and the community. Below is a list of these service contributions:
Department Service:
MIS Career Counseling Program 2004-2013 – Met with every student who is enrolled in MIS201 to provide one-on-one career counseling services sharing first-hand industry experience with our students.
Committee Chair – BBA in MIS Program Redesign 2009-2011 – Lead the design and implementation of a new program that was redesigned from scratch.
Committee Co-Chair – MS in IT Auditing and Cyber Security Program Development Committee 2010-2011 – Played a leadership role in the design and creation of the ITACS program.
Chair if Undergraduate MIS Programs 2012-2013 – Oversaw the undergraduate programs within the department
Managing Director, Programs & Student Affairs 2013-2014 – Played a leadership role within the department focusing on teaching excellence in various programs.
Assistant Chair 2015-present – Payed a leadership role within the department primarily focusing on the teaching side of the department.
School Service:
Faculty Responsibility Committee 2008- – Participated on committee to help investigate and resolve issues with students and faculty members.
Undergraduate Programs Committee 2009-Present – Work with team of faculty and administrators to oversee the undergraduate program.
Fox Scholarship Committee 2011-Present – Work on committee to award scholarships to deserving students.
Fox Merit Committee 2014- – Work on committee to make merit recommendations to Dean’s office.
Faculty Mentorship Program 2014-2016 – Worked as a mentor with new faculty member to help them be successful in the classroom, the school and the university.
Ex-Officio Member of the CAFSBM Steering Committee 2015-2016 – Work on a committee to provide direction to CAFSBM.
University Service:
ERP Technical Steering Committee 2008-2010 – Worked on a committee and leveraged my industry experience with ERP systems to help the success of Temple’s ERP project.
Faculty Senate 2011-2014 – Served as a representative from the Fox School on the Faculty Senate.
Community Service:
International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) Conference Paper Reviewer 2008 – Reviewed academic papers and provided feedback to conference organizers.
Association for Information Systems (AIS) Conference Paper Reviewer 2016-present – Reviewed academic papers and provided feedback to conference organizers.
Association for Information Systems (AIS) Conference Session Chair 2016-present – Provide assistance organizing and running conference sessions.
