Career Objectives
As I near the end of my sophomore year, I am taking a closer look at where my interests lay for my future. Currently, I am interested in completing my degree and going on to work for a multinational company that allows its employees to travel.
Currently, I hold a position as a Peer Advisor for Fox Undergraduate Advising, where I am able to improve the experience of students completing their B.B.A. degree by providing information about academic policies and course sequencing. I thoroughly enjoy being given the opportunity to help my peers succeed and I hope to continue helping others in my future career.
I also work as the Campus Ambassador for the BAT, or Bloomberg Aptitude Test, where I am responsible for marketing and proctoring a test which measures one potential success in business. The scores from this test are anonymously entered into a database and employers are given access and send a request to connect with the test-taker. I enjoy being the link that allows these students to learn about this opportunity and take advantage of it. In the future, I feel that the skills I learned through this job, such as being a self starter, would allow me to be successful in other fields.
My past experiences have led me to desire a career that focuses on improving current situations. I really like the idea of implementing management information systems in foreign countries, which would make use of my Management Information Systems major and my love for languages. A career that encompasses all of these features would be ideal.
