Project Proposal:
Mobile App that allows video game users to find and connect to each other within a certain radius from their current position. Users can customize the range of the search, create a profile that lists what systems they use, list what their most played games are, and other personal information about themselves. When finding other members they can request to connect with them and can also approve and deny it. The app can also connect with their current profiles on the Playstation network and Xbox live. Profit from this endeavor would be made through advertisements and deals with gaming systems.
This sounds interesting. However, don’t existing gaming systems already allow you to do this? I am not an expert but I have seen this feature in major multiplayer games like COD? I also recall seeing something like in the Wii. A more basic question is that why would people want this feature outside of a specific platform/game?
