Group Leader at George School Day Camp in Newtown, PA
My role as Group Leader was to manage a group of counselors and 20 kids throughout the summer. We did activities such as mountain biking, high ropes, sports, and crafts. My time at George School Day Camp helped me improve my leadership and problem solving skills. The Group Leader position is responsible for parent communication as well as staff performance reviews for the staff they lead. I spent a lot of time figuring out how best to go about each day and when to delegate as well as when to make decisions myself.
Internships:
Intern at Mckee Risk Management in King of Prussia, PA
During my internship I focused on analyzing accounts receivable statements, working with the companies accounting software, and data entry. This internship really helped me learn how corporate structure works as well as giving me incite into the insurance and business worlds as a whole.
