Summer 2015 Internship at QVC
This past summer I interned in the IT Infrastructure Department at QVC in West Chester, PA. QVC is the world’s leading video and e-commerce retailer. As a member of the Enterprise Systems Monitoring team, I assisted in the installation and maintenance of system monitoring software. This software provides early warning signs and notifications to support teams on QVC’s global applications, network, and IT infrastructure.
As the project manager for our IT Intern project, I kept the team on pace to meet our summer’s end goal while gathering requirements for the team. We were tasked with replacing a legacy business process management tool with a new BPM tool with added functionality, support, and design. We presented our final product to IT Leadership and received a signature of approval from the project sponsor.
