This graphic caught my eye because of the key and clear cut visuals that are used for the infographic. It clearly states what % of energy is which and it is easy to remember/read.
This graphic is on the bad side because of how large it is and because of how many different points of data. This causes the infographic to be clustered so it is almost impossible to read at full image size.
This chart is a hot mess because it is trying to convey the data as a pie chart but did not deliver the expected result because the graphic is just so divided into many pieces of data.
I thought this was a good representation of birth rate around the world because it shows every country clearly (in the form of a map of the entire world) with an easy-to-read scale at the bottom of the graphic.
I thought this visualization could be improved because visually, it is a bit clustered and hard to distinguish countries, especially small countries. I think using a graphic that divides the countries more clearly would make this visualization better.
I believe this graphic on how long it takes to double your money is very good because the data isn’t misleading, it shows exactly how long each value is, everything is labeled properly, and it even shows the averages of annual returns.
The data presented here is displayed in a pie chart. I personally believe that this is a pretty solid choice of data visualization. Firstly, each electricity source’s usage in 2022 nearly adds up to 100%, and amongst each component, the data shows which electricity sources are renewable and non-renewable (most are not). The data also shows how much has each source increased or decreased since the previous year (2021)
Though the data is presented pretty easily (somewhat of a pie chart), it is not specific enough. It only shows how dominant one search engine is over another, but does not measure it with certain aspects (such as location, demographic, etc.).
This example is a bad one, as the different shapes make it difficult to compare two different countries. Also, some countries’s data isn’t even included in the map. In this case, a bar graph would be a better choice.
The graphic is trying to show the different electricity power sources around the world and how much we are using them. I found the graphic pretty good at conveying the message because it caught my attention. It is creatively cut and each area represents a certain type of source.
