1. We will have no more sessions – you will submit your group presentation as a recording (e.g. use Zoom to record it) including the slide deck and infographic (3 files) using the online form below by the end of Monday.

2. Not everyone in the group needs to talk in the presentation recording as long as everyone has contributed to the work.

3. I have contacted those who have missing assignments – please make sure you hand those in by next Wednesday 12/7.

4. I will be today available 3-4pm in my office 206D if you want to see me for your group project or any other matter!

Welcome to MIS0855 Data Science Course!

August 15, 2022

Organizations are drowning in data. A huge amount of data are constantly produced by social media services, customer loyalty programs, smartphones and other gadgets, sensor and transportation networks, credit card transactions, government agencies and many other types of data producers. Successful leaders make increasingly to data-driven decisions, solve problems and communicate by skillfully combining large amounts of heterogenous data. This course teaches you to make sense of the world through data and to do data analysis in practice.
