Hello, we just finished our first online class for the course – apologies for those who thought that we would still be doing this in classroom! The move to online was announced in my email yesterday, but I understand that in the current context some things may go noticed. This is totally understandable. The session is recorded and will be posted online soon.
Here are quick answers to a few questions that arose during the session:
- It seems that we are still allowed meet students one-to-one on campus; therefore, I will be here if you need face-to-face tutoring (Sofia was, however, sent home as other students…). I will also have my regular office hours in Zoom (the same link).
- I will try record attendance from Zoom participants so that you don’t have to sign some sort of attendance list. Let’s see how this goes.
- Zoom sessions are recorded – I will figure out how I can post them to our website over the weekend.
Please, tell me what we could improve from the first session by sending comments to this post!!! This is a very quick transition so there are for sure some rough edges – any, even small remarks how to makes things work better are truly helpful!
(E.g. I did not yet have my second monitor set up and once I can get it up and running I should be able to run the sessions more smoothly.)
