Aside from what&#8217;s in readings and the class materials here are some others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.data.gov\/impact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">data.gov\u2019s \u201cImpact\u201d section<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Science: <a href=\"http:\/\/genomesunzipped.org\/project\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Genomes Unzipped project<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Government: <a href=\"https:\/\/data.cityofnewyork.us\/City-Government\/Parking-Violations-Issued-Fiscal-Year-2014-August-\/jt7v-77mi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York City parking violations<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Journalism: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propublica.org\/newsapps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ProPublica data sets<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Random: <a href=\"https:\/\/public.tableau.com\/en-us\/gallery\/?tab=viz-of-the-day&amp;type=viz-of-the-day\">Tableau public visualizations<\/a> (often based on open data)<\/li>\n<li>More Random: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/dataisbeautiful\/\">Reddit&#8217;s Data Is Beautiful<\/a> (usually has source data for the visualizations linked)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In addition take 2&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will be talking about visualizations that are scheduled for Week 4.
