REMINDERS: Week #4 Sept 23, 2019 – MSCIS 2101 Section 4

September 23, 2019 Leave a Comment

Students,

Welcome to Week #4 of MSCIS 2101 Section 4.

Please remember that class tonight will be in Kiva Auditorium which is in Ritter Annex, across the quad from Alter.  Please see my previous announcement from last week if you need a campus map.

1. Another reminder that a laptop/ipad or internet accessible device is REQUIRED for this course and must be brought to class each week night.  This is a requirement of the Fox School of Business. You will be required to access and submit google forms during the group assignments of the course.  Please ensure that you can access the Activity links before coming to class.  This requires you to log-in using your TU ID (email address) which is a gmail associated account.  If you have issues or are not able to access the activity links – please use myaccount.google.com to login to your TU ID account.

2.  Max Labs 1a/1b is due tonight at 11:59pm.  Remember, late submissions will not be accepted.  You must login to the class website, navigate to the Assignments Tab and click on the 02-Max Lab 1a/1b page and look for the Submission Widget at the bottom of the page.  This is where you will turn in your assignment.  If you can not see the widget, you are not properly logged into the course website.

3.  This week we will focus on learning about Enterprise Resource planning systems and Customer Relationship management systems and how they are used by the Digital Product manager to enable technology solutions for customers.  Please ensure that you review the required readings (there are 6), the required viewings (there are 2) and the discussion slide deck that I will be lecturing on tonight (deck 4.1).

4. Tonight we will also have a quick review of the exam for next week and what is expected.

5. Finally, in preparation for the first exam – two EXAM #1 Review Sessions have been scheduled.  These sessions are scheduled as follows:
  • 9/23 4 – 5 PM in Alter 034
  • 9/25 3 – 4 PM in Alter 035
