In this assignment, you will setup a profile on the e-Portfolio site, create an e-Portfolio, configure Google Analytics to collect information about visitors visiting your site and network with others on the e-Portfolio site.<\/p>\n

There are two different versions of this assignment.\u00a0 One version is for MIS majors.\u00a0 The other version is for everyone who is not an MIS major.\u00a0 There are only a few minor but important differences between these two versions of this assignment.<\/p>\n

  1. While all students will create an e-Portfolio, MIS majors will create their e-Portfolio on a permanent site and they will use their e-Portfolio for the entire time that they are in the MIS program.\u00a0 People who are not MIS majors will create their e-Portfolio on a temporary site and their e-Portfolios will be deleted at the end of the semester.<\/li>\n
  2. The assignment majors will complete includes an additional section where they will learn about Professional Achievement points and sketch out a plan for earning the required 1,000 Professional Achievement points before they graduate.\u00a0 They will also learn about Reward Points.\u00a0 For each Professional Achievement point a student earns, they will also receive a reward point which can be redeemed for merchandise in the MIS Points Store.<\/li>\n
  3. MIS majors will need to get their e-Portfolios registered with the department.\u00a0 This will earn these students their first 50 Professional Achievement points.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  4. MIS majors will need to earn a minimum of 75 Professional Achievement points<\/strong> to complete MIS 2101 successfully. \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
