A picture says a thousand words and an ERD, an entity relationship diagram, truly does. An ERD, is a visual representation of data. It displays entities, attributes, and their relationship to one another. As a visual person I find ERD’s very helpful and easy to follow. It puts a lot of data into an easy-to-understand format. Seeing each object and it’s attributes provides clear information about each object. Also, seeing the relationship between objects. The various symbols included in the diagram communicate the status of each entity and their relationship with other entities in a clear fashion.

Hi Beckett, digital identity is the information of an entity that represents an external agent. That external agent could be a person, application, organization, etc. A person’s digital identity is comprised of all of their personal information (i.e: contact info, address, ssn, etc). A digital identity also features all of that individual’s online activity. It is definitely important to be careful of when uploading something to the internet, as that then becomes apart of that individual’s digital identity.
