The two notions for ERD are Chen\u2019s and Crow\u2019s. Chen uses rectangles and diamonds to show a relationship, and Crow uses rectangles to connect to another rectangle to show a relationship. There are three primary symbols for ERD: entity, attribute, and relationship. The entity uses nouns, Attribute uses adjectives or characteristics, and relationships use verbs. The three crow\u2019s foot notation is 1:1, which is a \u201cone-to-one relationship,\u201d 1:m is \u201cone to many,\u201d is to many relationships, and last is m:m, a \u201cmany-to-many relationship\u201d this help describe the characteristic of the relationship between two entities. I think the key thing of an ERD table is to label if you don\u2019t label your boxes and lines, you might end up lost.
