They access different data within operating systems and send information back and forth. APIs are used by many different applications and we interact with them throughout the day. An example of how we use API can be from opening the weather app, or google maps, social media. These are all examples of us using API\u2019s. Social networking is another great example of how developers gather social data through API\u2019s. This can be used by many businesses as the data can drive new innovations by the data that&#8217;s collected. Organizations that use API\u2019s can gain additional insight into what consumers want and need, allowing them to create products to fit those wants and needs. Looking at API\u2019s and the value they can build for an organization is immense. In today&#8217;s society new features are always something to rave about from an app you&#8217;ve been using for a while.
