Creating a professional digital identity has become more important with the increased reliance on technology to conduct business. It&#8217;s important to research yourself and see what others can see about you online.<\/p>\n<p>I, personally, keep a very discreet online persona. I don&#8217;t use my full name, let alone my full first name, on anything that isn&#8217;t related to school, work, the government, or finances. A search of my full name won&#8217;t yield my social media profiles, where I also use different email addresses than my professional or school accounts. I&#8217;ve made a deliberate effort to erase most traces of myself online lol.
