Hello and welcome to MIS2402, section 001. I look forward to our first class together.
Many students ask me how they can best prepare for the course. I have some advice!
- Get the textbook for the class: JavaScript Absolute Beginner’s Guide by Kirupa Chinnathambi (2nd edition) (I would order it from Amazon… either print or e-book format is acceptable or if you have it from 2101 still that’s great!)
- Download and install the course related software before the start of class.
- There are some required videos for you to watch. There’s no reason that you can’t get a head start on that. See the YouTube link here.
- On the first day of class, I will take attendance, review the course (as it is documented on this site), and introduce some related material.
