Welcome to MIS2402

August 8, 2019

Hello and welcome to MIS2402, section 4. I look forward to our first class together.

Many students ask me how they can best prepare for the course.  I have some advice!  Everyone should be doing the following before we first meet as a class.

  1. Download and install the course related software before the start of class.  See the Setup Instructions posted under the Links section of this page.
  2. The semester will begin with an assignment that will require you to watch a substantial amount of material on lynda.temple.edu.  There’s no reason that you can’t get a head start on that.  See the Reference-HTML-Essentials.pdf here or under the Links section of this page.
  3. On the first day of class, I will take attendance, review the course (as it is documented on this site), and introduce some material related to HTML and CSS.
  4. There is no textbook for the class.

I look forward to seeing you in class on Tuesday 8/27.
