Our exam review will be held during class on September 27. What is a topic (or specific question) that you would like to discuss during the review session to prepare for the exam?
A topic I would like to discuss during the review session is the subselect function. Although I feel comfortable with SQL, I do not feel confident in knowing when to use subselect.
A topic that I would like to discuss during the review session to prepare for the exam is cardinality in ERDs. I still am having trouble with the topic and would like more practice with it.
I would like to review the rules of cardinality and how to identify entities and attributes. I also would like to review SQL in terms of when and how to create a join and subselect. How can I think like SQL when writing the queries?
I think an overview on ERD creation would be very helpful. I personally struggle with overthinking the word problems & confusing cardinalities. I am comfortable with SQL but struggle with translating word problems onto an accurate & correct diagram.
A topic I would like to review more for the exam is the creation of ERDs. I understand how to identify entities and attributes, but I would like more practice with learning which entities connect to which and how to determine when attributes go with relationships as opposed to entities.
I would like to discuss ERD cardinalities; I believe this topic is very confusing because it is not always very specific in the problems. Additionally, I think it would be good to go over when to to put an attribute on a relationship and when to put it on an entity.
For the exam review, I would like to review subselect and SQL queries that are complex. Although we have gone over them, another review would be helpful. Also, a review of the cardinalities and ERDs as a whole would be extremely helpful.
I would like to review SQL and when to use certain commands. With the ERDs I would like to review the connections between each entity and the cardinalities.

I think it would be very helpful if we could review constructing an ERD & its proper cardinalities… also brushing up on subselect and joins in SQL would be great!
For the class review, I would like to discuss what the format of the test will look like. Is it similar to the in-class exercises we have done where we are creating ERDs from problem descriptions, developing queries based on certain needs, etc.? Will we also be tested on multiple-choice questions about definitions and certain concepts we learned in class?

A topic that I would like to discuss in the exam review session is the cardinality regarding ERD diagrams. Thus I think that myself as well as the class as a whole would benefit from reviewing this topic before the exam.
I would like to review how to identify the right cardinalities, understand GROUP BY and JOIN queries better. I would also like to practice a few questions using the schema of a database.
For exam one I would like to practice and get tips on ERD diagrams and cardinalities. I find them to be confusing. I would like to develop a process of solving them that I could replicate with every problem statement. While the steps we got in class were helpful, I still get confused on how some entities are related. (Ex: Ratings in the homework problem)
I need to go over identifying cardinalities for exam review. I missed a lot for my 1st assignment so I want to make sure I will minimize the errors for the exam
A little help identifying entities, attributes and the cardinalities. Seem as though it is simple enough but when presented in a word problem either I seem to overthink the problem or completely miss the target solution. Some help with sql queries specifically JOIN and subselect would be great as well.
I would like to review the cardinalities in the ERD diagrams. Also, I still have some problems for the GROUP BY and the complicated subselect in SQL, even though Professor said that subselect won’t be in the exam. Thank you!
