MIS2901: Honors Technology Research Project
The purpose of this project is to provide MIS2901 students with the opportunity to dive deeper into the technology covered in this class and gain a deeper understanding of how the technology is utilized in an organization. Each team of students will be assigned one of the technologies that we are covering in MIS2901 this semester.
- Enterprise Resource Planning Software
- Customer Relationship Management Software
- Supply Chain Management Software
- Platform
- Data Analytics
- Artificial Intelligence
Your team should research the assigned technology and understand how organizations utilize this to augment a company’s success and operations. In addition to the technology, your team should identify one key organization that utilizes this technology and be able to discuss the direct application within the organization.
Deliverables: Prepare a PowerPoint deck & Presentation that highlights the following items. Each team will have a designated amount of time to present the following:
- Technology Overview & Details
- Company Profile
- Technology Profile of the Company
- Connection of the technology and the organization i.e. how the organization utilizes the technology to achieve success

Your deck should include all the details, visually with follow up items in the note section. Please include references within your deck.
