These are called &#8220;Cloud Foundations&#8221; and &#8220;Cloud Developing&#8221;.\u00a0 \u00a0These class materials are provided at no cost to the student by Amazon.\u00a0 In most weeks you will be required to view one of more videos from one or both of these courses before the start of class.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/mis3406sec002spring2023\/files\/2022\/08\/AWSAcademyInstructions.docx\">AWSAcademyInstructions<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>ChatGPT (optional)<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/blog\/chatgpt\/\">ChatGPT<\/a>\u00a0is a large language model chatbot by OpenAI. It\u2019s quite sophisticated at answering questions, including defining terms and writing and diagnosing code! You are welcome to sign up for an account and use it this semester (for example, you can ask it \u201cWhat is a VPC in AWS?\u201d). However, there are some rules:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You can\u2019t use it during exams. Exams are still closed book, closed notes.<\/li>\n<li>For coding assignments, you have to follow the style and substance of the examples and exercises given in this class.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Think of ChatGPT as another student in the class \u2013 you can ask for some friendly help with a specific issue, but you have to do your own work!
