{"id":1571,"date":"2023-08-21T22:06:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-22T02:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/mis3504sec001fall2023\/?page_id=1571"},"modified":"2023-08-21T22:27:58","modified_gmt":"2023-08-22T02:27:58","slug":"hybrid-scrum-framework","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/mis3504sec001fall2023\/hybrid-scrum-framework\/","title":{"rendered":"Hybrid Scrum Framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each assigned team is expected to meet within 24-hours of the team list announcement (in-class) and organize themselves utilizing the Hybrid Scrum Framework listed below.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Hybrid Scrum Framework (4-6 team Members)<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Product Owner<\/strong> (PO)\n<ol>\n<li>Works in both Figma and Agora World<\/li>\n<li>Maintains vision<\/li>\n<li>Reviews Work<\/li>\n<li>Interacts with stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that highest value content is delivered<\/li>\n<li>Pushes team to deliver<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Scrum Master<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Works in both Figma and Agora World<\/li>\n<li>Protects the team and process<\/li>\n<li>Facilitator, balancing demands of PO against needs of team members (avoids team burnout)<\/li>\n<li>Acts as spokesperson for the team\n<ol>\n<li>Creates charts and boards to share progress (with instructor)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Removes Blockers<\/li>\n<li>Holds team accountable for deliverables<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\u00a0\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Team Members<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol>\n<li>Figma Specialist<\/li>\n<li>Agora Specialist<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Establishing Team Norms<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol>\n<li>Set up two-three-weekly meetings (this is your hybrid \u201cStandup and must be attended by all team members)<\/li>\n<li>Establish Ground rules for dealing with conflict (teams must learn to move forward with a decision, even when in disagreement)\n<ol>\n<li>Determine working relationships<\/li>\n<li>Conflict resolution<\/li>\n<li>Consensus options<\/li>\n<li>How to hold one another accountable<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Sprint Planning Meeting\n<ol>\n<li>Kickoff meeting to define stories that will be written and who owns them<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Start Working\n<ol>\n<li>Write User Stories\n<ol>\n<li>Led by PO<\/li>\n<li>Use \u201cINVEST\u201d Framework<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Create a roadmap to outline product development process\n<ol>\n<li>Establish order of how you will deliver content<\/li>\n<li>Determine what will delivered in \u201cSprints\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Daily Standup (conducted in-class and on your own)\n<ol>\n<li>Led by Scrum Master (Collaboration, Communication &amp;
