Over the summer I worked at Accenture, which is a tech consulting Fortune 500 firm. Accenture is all about partnerships and meaningful connections with their clients across all industries to provide technological implementations and advancements to improve a company’s efficiency in process areas of need. I was a consulting summer analyst, a part of the Consulting Development Program (CDP). During the course of my internship, I was paired with a client and an Accenture team to help implement a cloud environment and improved HR structure. I was also immersed in the Data and AI team, where I gathered Gen AI information and data to be shared with companies seeking potential AI implementation and how it can fix the problems they are encountering. This was a fairly new practice within the company and was incredibly grateful to be a part of it. Daily activities included excel analysis, taking meeting notes, PowerPoint slide generation, presentations & speaking, and other tasks needed by my Accenture team!

Last summer, I interned at Cencora, formerly known as AmerisourceBergen, where I held the position of IT Intern/Business Solutions Intern. My role was within the Order Management team in the D&S Finance and Sourcing IT Department. During my internship, I extensively utilized SAP and Excel to assist the company in meeting their needs and requirements. I had the opportunity to contribute to some exciting projects, one of which involved the AB mobile app. In this project, I meticulously reviewed various requirements to ensure their accurate implementation in the app.
This semester, I am fortunate to continue my work with Cencora, where I will be undertaking similar responsibilities, involving the analysis of business requirements and their technical solutions.

Over the summer, I completed an internship at the Risk Management Association (RMA) for their professional development team. The Risk Management Association is a commercial company that provides resources for risk professionals at financial institutions. The professional development team, in particular, had significant data related to the learners and subscribers of their educational resources. My responsibilities included analyzing and processing qualitative and quantitative learning data to create and maintain dynamic models, reports, and dashboards in Tableau. I mainly worked in their learning management system named Ignite, Microsoft Excel, MySQL, and Tableau. The end goal was to provide key insights and recommendations to improve learners’ experiences, subscription utilization, and the team’s decision-making. Overall, it was a great experience that helped me to navigate fairly ambiguous objectives with concrete data.

I work as a Manufacturing Planner at a smaller/mid-size manufacturing firm called Avo Photonics. I was an intern for 2 summers and now I work part-time during the school year. Most of my work is done using SAP Business One and G sheets. I work alongside our manufacturing and engineering teams to create and release BoMs/Travelers in SAP to meet our production needs. I also track and analyze material costs for production jobs. On our shipping days, I am responsible for closing shipments and communicating with our shipping team to make sure we reach our customer commitment numbers. I also track and report our aged jobs, and we have been working to develop a new system to improve some of our tracking processes. We’ve also been in the process of scaling the company, so its been a great learning experience to see how much has evolved since I’ve started.
