{"id":3194,"date":"2020-10-06T05:00:12","date_gmt":"2020-10-06T09:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/itacs5121fall16\/?p=3194"},"modified":"2018-12-07T12:12:07","modified_gmt":"2018-12-07T17:12:07","slug":"student-control-failure-presentation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/mis5121sec701fall2019\/2020\/10\/06\/student-control-failure-presentation\/","title":{"rendered":"Student: Control Failure Presentation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each week as part of our learning, I&#8217;ve included at least one Real World control failure example. \u00a0Starting in Week 7 (October 17) it will be your turn to continue this\u00a0learning by contributing your own video presentation of a Real World Control Failure.<\/p>\n<p>You are responsible to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Send me (by e-mail) proposed 2+ alternate weeks when you\u00a0would like to post your presentation<strong> (by October 11)<\/strong>. \u00a0I&#8217;ll prepare a final schedule and publish in the blog&#8217;s roster section.<\/li>\n<li>Find a real world example of a business process control failure (vs. just a hacking control failure example).<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a brief review of the failure. \u00a0This PowerPoint (PPT) <a href=\"http:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/itacs5121fall16\/files\/2016\/07\/Student-Control-Failure-Presentation-Template.pptx\">template<\/a>\u00a0contains\u00a0all the content components \/ points required in the presentation.<\/li>\n<li>In video format, create a presentation of\u00a0your\u00a0review \/ story. \u00a0Post that video as a comment to this blog post prior to\u00a0class time of your week\u00a0(based on an agreed sign-up schedule).<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: 5% of the course grade is earned by this project. \u00a0Evaluation is based on:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Including the required content components<\/li>\n<li>Clear, concise presentation of the control failure \u2018story\u2019 and lessons learned<\/li>\n<li>Originality in presentation of the control failure \u2018story\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each week as part of our learning, I&#8217;ve included at least one Real World control failure example. \u00a0Starting in Week 7 (October 17) it will be your turn to continue this\u00a0learning by contributing your own video presentation of a Real World Control Failure.
