ISACA is an independent, nonprofit, global association, that engages in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems. Previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, ISACA now goes by its acronym only, to reflect the broad range of IT governance professionals it serves.

ISACA developed the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) framework.  COBIT 5 framework is a globally accepted as a framework for the governance and management of enterprise IT that leverages proven practices, global thought leadership and ground-breaking tools to inspire IT innovation and fuel business success.
