At the end of the course you will be able to provide assurance that the practices for the acquisition, development, testing and implementation of information systems meet the enterprise\u2019s strategies and objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Before you begin the course, please take a few minutes to review the course format, and the syllabus items.<\/h2>\n<p><em>If you are new the MIS Community Site or the Canvas Learning Management Systems (LMS), you may want to begin with this <a href=\"http:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/mis5203sec951sp2018\/files\/2018\/02\/UsingCanvasMIS.mp4\">video<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>First, review the <a href=\"http:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/mis5203sec951sp2018\/\">course objectives<\/a>, which enumerates what you will be learning in this course.<\/li>\n<li>Second, review the list of <a href=\"http:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/mis5203sec951sp2018\/required-texts-and-readings\/\">required text and reading materials<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Third, review the <a href=\"http:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/mis5203sec951sp2018\/grading-and-other-policies\/\">grading<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/mis5203sec951sp2018\/course-structure\/\">course policies<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Fourth, review the <a href=\"http:\/\/community.mis.temple.edu\/mis5203sec951sp2018\/course-schedule\/\">course schedule<\/a>, which shows the topics, reading,\u00a0 assignments and assessments throughout the duration of the course.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, begin the first learning module, which includes an instructor introduction, followed by an introduction to the course material.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me: isprof@temple.edu<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to ITACS 5203, Managing the Systems Development Lifecycle!
