I found this trending article about how three former American intelligence officers hired by the United Arab Emirates to carry out sophisticated cyberoperations admitted to hacking crimes and to violating U.S. export laws that restrict the transfer of military technology to foreign governments.
The men helped the Emirates, a close American ally, gain unauthorized access to “acquire data from computers, electronic devices and servers around the world, including on computers and servers in the United States.
The three men worked for DarkMatter, a company that is effectively an arm of the Emirati government. They are part of a trend of former American intelligence officers accepting lucrative jobs from foreign governments hoping to bolster their abilities to mount cyberoperations.

It is evident from this article that the United Arab Emirates – UAE is willing in all forms and capacity to grow its technology infrastructure with a determine possibility and not limited to the appointments of former U.S. intelligence and military officials to help in the integration of a sophisticated computer hacking system technology for their spycraft operations and to put the UAE in the frontliner of intelligence-gathering with sophisticated technology capable of breaking into computers in the United States and elsewhere in the world through the vulnerable minds of the former U.S. intelligence and military personnel.
Nice article Shubham. For cases like this I wonder if acts such as this are seen as more of an act of war or if this more closely falls in line with espionage. This also can be considered a treasonous act as well due to the US citizens attacking devices within the US. DarkMatter is a very infamous group and they are sure to keep popping up one way or another.
