IT Operations Assistant – DiD Agency

On October 1st I started my new part time job (30 hours a week) with DiD Agency. DiD is a healthcare advertising agency (about 150 employees) which helps healthcare companies promote new products. When I arrived here, there was only one other person in the IT department (IT Operations Manager) who took care of everything IT related. With me here, he is less encumbered and has more time to work on IT projects for the future of DiD. This company is located in Amber, PA, but DiD is expanding quickly and will be opening up an office in Center City within the next year. DiD is a solely Mac environment, which is new to me because even though I have been using Macs for many years, I have never worked in a company where the entire environment is Macintosh and it has opened my eyes to various new software. My position right now is contracted and I am not exactly sure what I will do when it is over, but I am learning a great deal and I am grateful for the opportunity.
