Current Employers

Below you will find a detailed description of my employment history in the sport and entertainment industry. I work two-part-time  jobs for 15-20 hours a week while holding a 3.28 GPA and being involved in student organizations. 

Liacouras Center LogoTheLiacouras Center is a  10,206 multi-purpose venue, is located on the Temple University campus right outside of Center City, Philadelphia. The venue isa full entertainment arena featuring concerts, family shows, Temple Men’s and Women’s Basketball games and more.  The Liacouras Center is a Global Spectrum operated venue. Global Spectrum is a subsidiary of one of the largest sports and entertainment firms, Comcast Spectacor. I have been working for the Liacouras Center since December 2012, and currently hold two employment positions. A detailed description of both positions are provided below.

Event Staff Employee, Guest Services Department: As an event staff employee we are often the first member of the Liacouras Center staff, and we are expected to provide patrons with optimal customer service. We are expected to work cooperatively with all Liacouras Center employees to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Assist with game day and special events at the arena.
  • Provides information to patrons about building information, policies and procedures, and upcoming events at the arena.
  • Validate tickets, passes, and/ or credentials.
  • Direct patrons to their assign seats.

Box Office Ticket Seller, Ticketing Department:

  • Receive and process counter, phone, web and mail ticket orders using this in-house computerized ticketing system. 
  • Reconcile daily sales.
  • Provide accurate Liacouras Center and Temple Athletics information to patrons.

TUVB LogosThe Temple Women’s Volleyball team is a Temple Athletics NCAA Division I Program in the American League Conference. The program is dedicated “to providing an athletic environment in which student athletes excel–but not only in number of wins, by providing leadership, team building, academic enrichment, and public service opportunities”. I have worked with the Temple Women’s Volleyball Program since the Fall 2012 season.

Volleyball Manager: 

    • Manages team equipment, apparel, and other promotional items.
    • Assists with game day and practice operations such as set up, clean up, and apparel sales.
    • Help with camps and clinics hosted by the team.
