Corporate Finance Foundations
I learned that corporate finance focuses on how companies make financial decisions and how those decisions affect their performance and value. The course explained how everyday business activities connect to finance, and why understanding risk is important when making financial choices. I also learned how diversification can reduce risk, how short-term and long-term financing affect cash flow and operations, and how companies raise money through debt or equity. Finally, I learned the basics of the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and how it helps estimate risk and expected return.
