The Ethics of Data and AI
In this webinar David Kaganovsky Chief Technology Officer at Wavemaker gave us insight into the ever advancing use of AI in business and the ethical concerns that are growing with it. One cool thing that was discussed was how Twitter ruined Microsoft AI baby Tay turning it into a racist in under 16hrs with 95k tweets. This just goes to show how careful companies have to be with their AI investments because so much work went into something that ended up backfiring on the company. On a more scary note we discussed AIs new role in unmanned killing drones which is pushing the future bar of ethical problems. The future is unclear as for where Man should implement AI into our lives but what remains constant is how much precaution we should take as a society when pushing this bar.
