Freshmen Year
Micro and Macro Economics– Here I gained foundational knowledge of not only the American economy but also I gained key insight into how business is connected on a global scale.
Legal Environment of Business- It was through Prof. Hodge that I learned the basics of how business is conducted and the steps needed to protect oneself and one’s assets in the process of doing business.
Sophomore Year
Digital Systems- For me Digital Systems with Prof. Raven changed the course of my life the most out of any class I have taken thus far. In this class I was first introduced to the power of information systems and the complexity of code. Soon into this course I decided to add MIS as a major.
Statistical Business Analytics- By far the hardest class that I have taken. Through its complex topics combining with the difficulties of Zoom learning I fought hard to stay a float. It taught me perseverance and strengthened my confidence that I am capable of understanding anything if I give it my all.
Financial, Intermediate and Cost Accounting- Although these classes at times proved to be difficult, accounting is my comfort zone. Put in enough time and effort and stay thinking logically and you will find the answer.
