Interests
During lockdown I threw myself into many new hobbies and interests. On the more personal side I picked up surfing and snow boarding and found that being socially distant had some benefits for the minds well being. However, my professional interests that I picked up this year are what excite me the most. Recently me and my friend got into game design and have been building a game in Unreal Engine. Although this process is a lot of fun it has taught me loads about not only the software needed to build the game, but also about coding in C++, Java, CSS, and HTML. I have also used this passion to explore further the connectivity between my two majors. As we try and sell what we have made, I find more and more each day the value of accounting on the business side, and the value of MIS on my delivery.
